Moving More Than Liquids

Beer brewing and dispensing doesn’t mean transferring liquids only. You’ll also need to consider gas transfer in your process which can include CO2, nitrogen or oxygen. Where gas is involved, pressure is involved, and this means reinforced hose should be used for added pressure capabilities.

BrewSavor offers two reinforced hose products designed for gas transfer. Nylobrade®, a braid reinforced PVC hose, can handle temperatures up to 140°F and working pressures up to 465 psi, depending on the hose size. It’s NSF-51 and NSF-61 listed and is available in numerous sizes including 5/16” ID, the industry standard for gas lines.

Urebrade®, a braid reinforced polyurethane hose, has a maximum operating temperature of 175°F and offers working pressures of up to 250 psi, depending on hose size. It’s NSF-61 listed and has barrier properties that inhibit oxygen ingress and CO2 egress.

Both hoses conform to FDA standards, are made in the USA with solar power, and are free of DEHP, phthalates and BPA. Find out more information on our products designed to transfer gas in brewing and dispensing applications or reach out to someone from our Brew Crew if you need more help deciding which option is best for your needs.
